Obituary for Ann Schwellensattl
Ann Schwellensattl, age 92, of St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at St. Peters Manor in St. Peters, Missouri. She was born January 4, 1921 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Andrew J. and Josephine (nee Chapman) Crane. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin V. Schwellensattl, two brothers, Andrew and Vincent Crane and one sister, Dorothy Crane. Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Joanne Schwellensattl of St. Peters, Missouri, two grandchildren, Melissa Stagner of St. Peters, Missouri and Matthew (Mirian) Schwellensattl of St. Charles, Missouri and one great granddaughter, Arianna Schwellensattl. She retired in 1979 as a 3rd grade teacher at S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic School in Collinsville, Illinois. A gathering will be held from 10:30 a. m. until 11:00 a. m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at Saints Joachim & Ann Catholic Church in St. Charles, MO, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a. m. Father James Gahan will officiate. Memorials are requested to St. Joachim & Ann Care Service. Burial will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Illinois at a later date.
