Obituary for Arrettia M. "Rusty" Johnson
Arrettia M. "Rusty" Johnson, age 84, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 in The Colony, TX. She was born December 5, 1927 in Murphysboro, IL to the late Obert and Ada (nee Futrell) Lindsey. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Don G. Johnson, a son, Alan P. Johnson, a daughter, Lee Moore, five brothers and three sisters. Surviving are five sons, Don G. (Midge) of Fort Atkinson, WI, Mark B. (Shirley) of The Colony, TX, Cass R. (Jackie) of Collinsville, IL, Tyler J. (Tonya) of Joplin, MO and Spencer R. of Ocilla, GA. Also surviving is one brother, Andy Lindsey of AZ, two sisters, Rose Wanstall of CT, Gloria Fiedler of OR, 28 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Rusty was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Collinsville. Memorials may be made to the donors choice. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p. m. on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL. Pastor Mark Horn will officiate.
