Obituary for Betty C. Dix
Betty C. Dix (nee Hooks), age 88, of Collinsville, IL, born September 26, 1932 in Overland, MO, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton H. and Mary E. (nee Lea) Hooks, her husband, Wesley O. Dix, a daughter, Jennifer Juwer, four brothers, Robert H., Dale, Clifton F. and John L. Hooks, two sisters, Mary Zimmer and Genea Dugger, and one granddaughter, Amy Laura Dix.

Betty was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville, IL.

She is survived by three sons, Wesley C. (Laura) Dix of Collinsville, IL, Daniel L. Dix of Collinsville, IL and Cary L. (Debra) Dix of Troy, IL; one daughter, Elizabeth Dix of Alton, IL; three sisters, Katie B. Hobbs of Nashville, TN, Jacqueline M. (Willilam) Nicol of Stark, FL and Billie Jean (Tom) Allan of MD; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials are requested to First Baptist Church in Collinsville, IL.

A socially distanced Memorial Service will be held and live streamed at the First Baptist Church, 723 St. Louis Road, Collinsville, IL on January 16, 2021 at 11:00 a. m.
