Obituary for Carroll L Loos
Carroll L. Loos, age 90, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his residence.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joan (nee Yates) Loos of Collinsville, Illinois. While stationed in England, Carroll and Joan met and were later married in Maryland, when they returned to the states.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Kimball (Brenda) Loos of St. Charles, Missouri and one daughter, Elaine (Jay) Nicks of Belleville, Illinois.
He was born December 25, 1925 in Landes, Illinois to the late Clarence and Julia (nee Green) Loos. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Myron Loos and one sister, Erma Rosborough.
Carroll retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of service in the Air Force serving during World War II and the Vietnam War. He retired in 1987 after an aviation career at McDonnell-Douglas, now Boeing, to spend time with his family and travel.

Friends may call Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville.
Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:45 a. m., Friday, April 1, 2016 for a 10:30 a. m. committal service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Chaplain Andre D’Arden will officiate.
