Danial (Dan) L. Dix, age 69, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born September 20, 1952 in East St. Louis, Illinois passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his residence.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley O. and Betty C. (Hooks) Dix and one sister, Jennifer L. Juwer.
Surviving are his son, Joshua D. (Miranda) Dix of Kirkwood, MO; two brothers, Wesley C. (Laura) Dix of Collinsville, IL and Cary L. (Debra) Dix of Troy, IL; one sister, Elizabeth Dix of Alton, IL and two grandchildren, Corinne and Jameson Dix.
Dan had a passion for reading, music and baseball history. Due to his love of reading memorials are requested to a Library of one’s choice.

A service will be held to honor Dan on Saturday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville. Masks are requested to be worn in church.
