Obituary for Donald "Buzz" H. Watt
Donald H. “Buzz” Watt, age 90, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. Buzz was born July 30, 1933 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Donald W. and Ruth P. (nee Patek) Watt.
He retired after 40 years with Emerson Electric in St. Louis, MO.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his twin sister, Dorothy Watt and one brother, Robert Watt.
Surviving are his sister-in-law, Audrey Watt of Collinsville, IL; four nephews, Kenneth (Cindy) Young, of Collinsville, IL; Ronald (Kim) Watt of Collinsville, IL; Randy Watt of Collinsville, IL, Robert (Helen) Watt of Collinsville; three nieces, Linda (Mike) Scheiffole of Farmington, MO; Susie (Phil) Merkle of Collinsville, IL; Peggy (Don) Kerkemeyer of Collinsville, IL and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Partners for Pets, 9136 Lower Marine Road, St. Jacob, IL 62281 or HSHS Hospice.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. at St. John’s Cemetery, 105 National Terrace, Collinsville, IL.
