Obituary for Dr. Karl E. Rebenschied
Dr. Karl E. Rebenschied, age 85, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at University Nursing & Rehab in Edwardsville, IL. He was born October 8, 1929 in Danville, IL to the late Karl E. and Mary T. (nee Querio) Rebenschied, Sr. Dr. Rebenschied was a retired dentist, member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Glen Carbon, and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Wilkinson) Rebenschied of Collinsville, IL, one son, Jeffrey E. (Beth) Rebenschied of Cypress, TX, one daughter, DeeDee L. (Phil) Westermeyer of Crestwood, MO, one sister, Sharon L. (Bob) Whittlinger of Overland Park, KS, three grandchildren, Gabrielle Coleman of St. Louis, MO, Ryan T. and Brooke A. Rebenschied both of Cypress, TX, and three nephews, Kit Lindsay and Steven Lindsay both of Overland Park, KS and Dan Lindsay of China. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Madison District Dental Society or the Center for Advanced Dental Education at St. Louis University. Committal Service will be held at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL. Father Eugene Stormer will officiate.
