Obituary for Erwin G. "Irv" Hock
Erwin G. "Irv" Hock, age 85, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his home. Irv worked as a driver for Maclair Asphalt Company. He loved animals, both pets and wild critters, and was a fan of horse racing. He was a manager and long-time supporter of Khoury League baseball, and was an avid bowler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris (nee Warble) Hock, a son, Steven Hock and his parents, George and Louise N. (nee Pissini) Hock. Surviving are his son Gary (Tina) Hock of Collinsville, IL and a sister-in-law, Betty Moore of Collinsville, IL. Memorials are requested to Heartland Hospice or Billhartz Animal Shelter. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday, December 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Chaplain Mike Garrison will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
