Obituary for Irene E. Sim
Irene E. Sim, age 87, of St. Louis, MO, born June 15, 1929 in Maryville, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, Illinois.
Irene was a homemaker and caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Eva (nee Zeznich) Sim; four brothers, John, Theodore, Joseph and Michael Sim and three sisters, Anna Sim, Helen Pavlasek and Mary Sim.
Surviving are two nephews, Tedd Sims of Athens, IL, Terry (Pamela) Sims of Petersburg, IL; three great nephews; four great-great nephews and one great-great niece.
Memorials are requested to Buck Road Cemetery Association.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 10:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL. Committal service immediately following at Buck Road Cemetery, Maryville, IL. Pastor Mark Horn will officiate.
