Isabelle Wurtz, nee Barrett, age 95, of Collinsville, IL, born August 11, 1921 in Martinsburg, WV, passed away at 2:00 a. m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville, IL.
Mrs. Wurtz was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville, IL.
Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Wurtz, Sr., her parents Richard and Emma Mae (nee Light) Barrett, a daughter, Carol K. Liepold, 6 brothers and 8 sisters.
Surviving are her two sons, William H. Wurtz, Jr. of Troy, IL, and Joseph M. Wurtz of Troy, IL, one sister, Frances Crouse of Shepherdstown, WV, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, April 10, 2017 from 9:00 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at the funeral home with Brother Sherman Smith officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
