Obituary for Jimmy H. Cook
Jimmy H. Cook, age 70, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL. He was born November 10, 1942 in Monett, Missouri to the late Howard D. and Louise F. (nee Bounous) Cook. Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. (nee Breiner) Cook and one sister, Janice Majka. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jenny Jordan of Northbrook, IL, a step-son, Kevin Schaller of Collinsville, IL, and a step-daughter, Michelle Schaller of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving is his brother, Jack Cook of Imperial, MO and 3 grandchildren, Jackie & Kelly Jordan of Northbrook, IL, and Cole Schaller of East Alton, IL. He owned and operated Pressure Patch Products in St. Louis for many years. Memorials are requested to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to the family. A gathering will be held from 3:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m., Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home in Collinsville. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p. m., Sunday, June 30, 2013. Rev. Mike Evans will officiate.
