Obituary for Joe

Joseph D. (Joe) Daniel, Jr. age 67, of Collinsville, IL passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.



He was born August 14, 1957 in Belleville, IL to the late Joseph D. and Betty J. (nee George) Daniel, Sr. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters, JoAnna Nix and Christina Daniel and one granddaughter, Jacklin Daniel.



Joe was a sheet metal worker, worked in heating and air conditioning and was overall a jack of all trades. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Caseyville and a Senior member with over 30 years of service of the Belleville Enduro Team.



Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Sandra K. (nee Watts) Daniel of Collinsville, IL, one son, Joey Daniel of Belleville, Il, one daughter, Angela Daniel of Greenville, IL, one sister, Linda (Gary) McGill of Mayfield, KY, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.



Memorials in Joe’s honor may be made to the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home.



Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, 10 Bethel Meadows Road, Caseyville, IL. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p. m. with Pastor Dan McAfee officiating.
