Obituary for LaRue A. "Larry" Sanasarian
LaRue A. "Larry" Sanasarian, age 82, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois. He was born December 17, 1929 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Abraham and Helen Sanasarian. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Leon Sanasarian and a very dear cousin, Richard Depigian. Larry is survived by his wife, Mary L. (nee Grebel) Matoesian-Sanasarian, of Granite City, IL, a sister, Margaret Page of Nashville, TN, two step-sons, Robert (Lori) Matoesian of Bartlett, IL and Charles Matoesian of Springfield, IL. Also surviving are loving nieces and nephews. He retired as an accountant for the U. S. government and served in the Air Force and was a member of St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Granite City, IL. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:00 a. m. at St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Granite City, IL with Rev. Father Stephan Balijian officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL. Memorials are requested to St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church.
