Obituary for Margaret C. Scharf
Margaret C. Scharf (nee Kelly), age 80, of Golden Eagle, IL, born February 9, 1944 in Torrance, CA, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Kathleen J. (nee Henry) Kelly, one brother, Mike Kelly and two sisters, Charleen Kelly and Patricia Davis.
Margaret was a homemaker and is survived by her husband, Earl Scharf of Golden Eagle, IL; one daughter, Marlynn (Steve) DePaola of Anaheim, CA; two step-sons, Richard (Yvonne) Scharf of Boise, ID and Raymond Scharf of Coeur d’ Alene, ID; one brother, Charles Kelly of Jacksonville, NC; one sister, Katie Graziani of West Haven, CT; and five grandchildren, Rachel Scharf (David Swan), Bryce Scharf, Christopher (Caroline) DePaola, Paul DePaola and Rebecca DePaola.
Memorials are requested to the Calhoun County Volunteer Fire Department or BJC Hospice.
Per Margaret’s request there will be no services.
