Obituary for Mary Ann Wells
Mary Ann (Habanek) Wells, 77, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mary Ann was born in East St. Louis, IL on June 12, 1946 to the late George and Anna (nee Materka) Habanek, Sr.
She was a member of Newsong Fellowship Church in Edwardsville, IL. Mary Ann was an accountant for many years at Edison Brothers and the American Red Cross both in St. Louis, MO.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, George Habanek, Jr.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Lee Wells of Collinsville, IL, one sister-in-law, Bonnie Habanek of Collinsville, IL and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Collinsville Food Pantry.
Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville, IL with Pastor Dave Remoser officiating.
