Obituary for Mary Lee Votava
Mary Lee Votava, age 89, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at University Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville, IL. She was born February 24, 1925 in Collinsville, IL to the late Terry T. and Elsie M. (nee Barnes) Hall. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Votava, a daughter, Carol Atwood and a sister, Gertrude Getz. Mary is survived by one son, Ronald Votava of Collinsville, IL and one daughter, Juanita Winkler of Collinsville, IL, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville. Memorials are requested to the First United Presbyterian Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Per her request her body was donated to St. Louis University. There will be no services.
