Obituary for Michael "Mike" J. Klueter
Michael J. “Mike” Klueter, age 71, of Troy, Illinois passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.
He was born May 26, 1952 in Highland, Illinois to the late Wilbur J. and Margaret A. (nee Kelly) Klueter.
Mike was the owner and operator of Kelly’s Butcher Shop and Deli in Troy, Illinois for the past 42 years until the present. He was a member of the Meat Cutter’s Union, IBAA and Mid State Illinois Bass Anglers. Mike was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are his brother, Craig (Teri) Klueter of Troy, IL; his sister, Patrice (Jim) Barciszewski of Troy, IL; three nephews, Brian (Heather) Klueter, Andy Barciszewski, Justin Barciszewski; one niece, Amy (Jason) Thomas and three great nephews, Hubey Thomas and Gibson and Mabry Klueter.
Memorials are requested to the family for a bench to be placed at Carlyle Lake in Mike’s memory and may be mailed to the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville.
