Obituary for Philip E. Goble, Sr.
Philip E. Goble, Sr., age 80, of Collinsville, IL, born December 1, 1942 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away February 18, 2023 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes P. (nee Schranz) Goble, 2 brothers, Frank Goble and Richard Goble and one sister, Rosemary Cullen.
Philip served in the U. S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Vera F. (nee Carman) Goble of Collinsville, IL; one son, Philip E. (Kristina) Goble, Jr. of Peoria, AZ; one daughter, Sheri L. Verstraete of Collinsville, IL and two grandchildren, Seth Verstraete of Collinsville, IL and Kaitlyn Goble of Peoria, AZ. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Hospice of Southern Illinois – North Orange or St. Jude Children’s Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm.
