Obituary for Thelma Cornelia Koblitz
Thelma C. Koblitz, age 97, of Caseyville, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born January 9, 1915 in Caseyville, IL to the late John O. and Sophia P. (nee Nichols) Koblitz. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Darwin J. Koblitz. She is survived by numerous cousins, other family members and friends. Miss Koblitz was an elementary school teacher from 1937 until 1983 at Caseyville School. She was a member of Friedens Evangelical United Church of Christ in Caseyville, IL, a life member of the National Teachers Organization, life member of Illinois Teachers Association and a life member of Illinois PTA. Memorials are requested to the Arthritis Foundation. Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 from 9:30 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. service time. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Minear will officiate. Burial will follow at Caseyville Cemetery, Caseyville, IL
