Obituary for Eloise N. Weiss
Eloise N. Weiss, age 85, of Troy, Illinois, passed away, Monday, November 26, 2012 in Troy, IL. She was born November 30, 1926 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Andrew J. and Mildred (nee Millett) Schmidt, a brother and a sister. Eloise attended S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, volunteered at Cahokia Mounds and served as a Pink Lady volunteer at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. She loved dancing and was a member of the Boots and Slippers Dance Club. Surviving are two daughters, Christine (Fabian) Westrich of Imperial, MO and Patty (Mark) Conreux of Troy, IL, five grandchildren, Michael and Tom Slaven, Brad, Scott and Jamie Conreux and three great-grandchildren, Ian Slaven, Madelyn Conreux and Julia Pecher. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p. m. at the Allan and Ciuferi Funeral Home in Collinsville. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p. m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be at S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville. Memorials are requested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
