Obituary for Mildred B. "Midge" Janas
Mildred B. "Midge" Janas, age 76, of Glen Carbon, IL, formerly of Collinsville, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 7, 1937 in Robertson, MO to the late Eugene and Mary Ann (nee Andrews) Lefebvre, Sr. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lefebvre. Midge was a homemaker and a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL. She is survived by her husband, Anthony P. "Tony" Janas of Glen Carbon, IL, a son, Anthony P. "Tony" Janas of Metropolis, IL, three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Warner of Dallas, TX, Laurie Waxler of Olney, IL and Linda Bartlett of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by one brother, Eugene Lefebvre, Jr., of St. James, MO, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, May 5, 2014 from 4:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. at the Allan & Ciuferi Funeral Home. A Private family service will be conducted. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
