Obituary for Louise M. "Weiz" Busiere
Louise M. "Weiz" Busiere, age 90, of Elsberry, MO, formerly of Collinsville, IL, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Elsberry Health Care Center in Elsberry, MO. She was born August 8, 1924 in Collinsville, IL to the late Arthur and Louise (nee Vironda) Mincke. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Bud" Busiere and a brother, Jennis "Tots" Mincke. She is survived by one son, Dennis (Kathy) Busiere of Troy, IL, one daughter, Karin Busiere of Silex, MO, and one granddaughter, Lauren Busiere of St. Louis, MO. Weiz was a homemaker and enjoyed her days playing bridge, being outdoors, was an avid gardener and world traveler. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, IL, Collinsville Woman's Club and past member of the Collinsville Historical Museum and Presbyterian Women. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville. Pastor Jeff Young and Dr. Lloyd Shaw will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Parkinson's Association or The Friends of Elsberry Literacy Program. Burial was held in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
